TOFT ALPACA FIBRE WORKSHOP A practical insight into Adding value to your fibre. Hosted by Rob Bettinson.

There are still some places left for the next Toft Field to Fashion Alpaca Fibre Workshop being held on Friday Nov 4th -2011. These practical fibre days offer a real chance to share hands on in the Toft Alpaca experience and a a must for growers who want to add real value to their alpaca fibre.

Add value to your alpaca aspiration!

We will be hosting  a  one day Alpaca fibre course on Friday 4th Nov. The theme will be 'Field to Fashion 'which will deliver a practical perspective on all aspects of alpaca fleece and fibre from the field to the catwalk

Rob will be running these alpaca fleece and fibre days. Rob  was one of the first qualified alpaca judges in the UK and has years of experience both in the UK and Europe  to underpin his insight.

He approaches fibre as a breeder of  over 15 years experience aiming to give the alpaca grower a real perspective on how to gain maximum benefit from their fibre. Rob has been heavily involved in the development of the hugely successful Toft Alpaca Shop which has been buying and sorting large quantities of alpaca fibre from Uk breeders per annum for processing into high quality knitwear yarns and knitwear.

These hands on Alpaca Fibre workshops are designed to throw some real  practical insight into all the challenges of breeding, shearing, sorting, showing, analyzing and processing this elite fibre to add value to your fibre.

This one day course will give each participant a firm grounding in alpaca fibre and touch practically on every aspect of growing and working with alpaca fibre, destroying a few myths and adding some inspiration along the way, hopefully leaving the participants with a firm grounding in the realities of adding value to their herd.
