Toft Alpacas is located on the shores of the picturesque Draycote reservoir, one of the most popular trout fishing lakes in the UK.

This Central Midlands location lies on the axis of three counties Warwickshire, Northamptonshire and Leicestershire, within shouting distance of the M45, M1 and M6.

 Myra Alpaca

Established in 1997 the Toft alpaca herd is now over 150 strong and provides permanent employment for three people. Introductory and advanced alpaca workshops and courses are run throughout the summer. The Toft Alpaca farm shop is open on-farm 10am-4pm. The Toft Alpaca online shop never shuts, and offers our full range of alpaca yarns and alpaca knitwear. During the show season the alpacas and the show trailers are busy throughout the UK attending all of the major agricultural shows and gamefairs.

As it reaches a certain scale and maturity Toft Alpacas remains very much a family business relying heavily on the keen interest and enthusiasm of their four children, Kerry, Laura, Scott and Grant and their ruthlessly exploited grandmother turned herds woman, Myra. God Bless her woolly socks!

SHEAR BEAUTY: The Toft alpaca herd roams over 60 acres of rural Warwickshire blessed with the most stunning views of Draycote water. The Toft Alpaca herd produces alpacas throughout the whole natural spectrum of colours available representing every colour from white to black and every shade in between. The herd produces almost 500kgs of luxurious alpaca fibre in all colours which is then processed in the UK into exclusive alpaca products sold through The Toft Alpaca Shop  .

WALK and ENJOY: There are three public footpaths and bridleways running through the alpaca farm. These are all double fenced enabling the general public free  access to admire the alpaca herd at all times. Many people now combine a short walk amongst the alpacas with a visit to the shop.  So, if your main interest is the shop put some time aside to admire the alpacas and if it's the other way round don't forget your wallet because there's plenty of alpaca to admire in the shop.

VISIT ANYTIME: We are located on the side of Draycote water where sailing, fishing, windsurfing, walking, birdwatching, cycling, jogging abounds. Draycote Visitor Centre is an attractive half mile walk from Toft Alpacas.

Although we are not a visitor centre, with its public footpaths and bridleways, Toft Alpaca farm has a charming open parkland feel allowing dog walkers, cyclists and children close allowing safe but protected access to the alpacas which are rapidly becoming a major attraction in the area. The beautifully laid out walks through the alpacas are just the tonic for a little peace and quiet.
